TORRE TERZA

VERNACCIO DI SAN GRIMIGNANO DOCG

When visiting San Gimignano, you cannot help noticing the rolling hills that surround the town. It is just on one of these hills, one of those that see to touch the impressive towers of the old historic center, that Torre Terza Estate is situated. According the old Tuscan traditions, Torre Terza has its own history too. In 1867, the Duke Amedeo d’ Aosta became the owner of the estate. Here he loved to spend most of his free time hunting. The old hunting hut, which is still surrounded by vineries, old age oks and junipers, keeps untouched the harm of the past. Today this farm, run with passion, produces small quantities of wines which are rich in personality and taste.

The Vernaccio di San Gimignano DOCG is pale yellow in color; bouquet fresh with traces of pineapple – dry, persistent with notes of almond. This wine goes well with white meats, fish and fresh cheeses.
