The villa dates back to the 14th century; it has been completely renovated while respecting the original architecture and includes three fully equipped apartments that are available on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday.
The La Tancia agricultural complex produces some of the best wines available in Tuscany including Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG, a barrique-aged Super Tuscany as well as others which are exported to the U.S.A. and elsewhere; the olive oil, prime grade extra virgin, which is first press/cold press is also exported throughout the world.
La Tancia Estate was established in 1743 and today a descendant is currently operating the estate vineyards.
