This family domaine is in the purest Burgundy tradition. They are wine growers from the village of Meursault for nine generations. Today their vineyards are from the village of Aloxe Corton in the North, to Santenay in the South; a multitude of small parcels creating a mosaic of their wines.
The Chateau de Citeaux vineyards are located in the center of Meursault and are contiguous to the famous Chateau de Citeaux of Meursault. The vineyards are tended and the wines vinified by Phillipe Bouzereau, who has recently been discovered by the English “Decanter” magazine with one of his wines being selected the “Best Wine in Burgundy”.
Displaying all the hallmarks of a top quality Meursault, this fine, elegant and concentrated Chardonnay is beautifully balanced, with pure lifted fruits and a rich, nutty palate leading to an exquisitely long finish.
