Casuccio Tarletti is set in the middle of a legendary land, where Siena and Florence fought, during the middle ages for the control of this precious part of Tuscany. Florence managed to annex a great part of this precious land, home to one of the most valuable ruby red wines with unmatchable scents.

Casuccio Tarletti has a surface of more than seven hectares, entirely covered with vines. The wine is harvested manually then spends three weeks in steel vats, it is then refined in French and Slovenian oak barrels and then finally in smaller French barrels for an ov erall period of 15 – 18 months.

Ruby red with violet reflections. The predominant scent of ripe fruit, with light hints of spices -vanilla and cinnamon; Taste is soft­intense with an excellent balance of the tannins and the typical freshness of the Sangiovese.

Production Process: Manual harvest. Natural fermentation on yeasts, maceration on the skins for at least 3 weeks with controlled temperature (28°C). Malolactic fermentation in steel vats. Refining in Slavonian oak barrels and smaller French barrels for period of 12 months
Organoleptic Properties:Color – ruby red with violet reflections; Bouquet –predominant scent of ripe fruit, with light hints of spices – vanilla and cinnamon; Taste – soft, intense with an excellent balance of the tannins and the typical freshness of the Sangiovese
